Yosif Faroug Ahmed

Yousif is the Founder and CEO of Exco Mining, a visionary leader with over 14 years of experience in Sudan’s mining sector. Specializing in the mineral-rich Nubian Shield, he has led successful projects, including serving as General Manager of Sohaneit Mining Company (2023–2025), which earned national recognition as Sudan’s top small-scale mining company in 2024.
Amir Mousa Abdelrahman

With over 14 years of experience in mineral exploration, project development, and geological research across the Arabian Nubian Shield, he is the Founder of EXCO Mining in Sudan, bringing leadership and technical expertise to multiple ventures. He currently manages exploration and development at Sohaneit Mining Company while pursuing a Master’s in Geochemistry and is an active member of AusIMM, SCE, and SEG.
Abdelkhalig Ibrahim Mohammed

Abdelkhalig is a seasoned Project Manager and Exploration Geologist with over 14 years of experience in Sudan’s mineral exploration sector. He recently led the Sohaneit Gold Project for 2.5 years, delivering outstanding results. Skilled in drilling supervision, core logging, data analysis, and technical reporting, he oversees and coordinates all project aspects to ensure efficiency, compliance, and innovation.
Mohamed Tawfig Wahbi
Mining Engineer Consultant
With over 14 years of experience in open-pit mining and mining engineering education in Sudan, he serves as a business advisor for Sudanese and US mining projects. His expertise includes open-pit operations, mine planning, drilling and blasting, slope stability evaluation, and optimization. He has contributed to de-risking projects and conducting technical and feasibility studies in Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
