Sohaneit gold project
At the heart of Exco Mining’s ambitious vision is the Sohaneit Gold Project, a testament to our expertise and commitment to sustainable mining practices. This project is the result of meticulous planning and collaboration by our dedicated geological team, who have employed advanced exploration methodologies to identify potential gold deposits. The Sohaneit Gold Project not only reflects our technical prowess but also highlights our commitment to responsible resource extraction, ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into every phase of the project.
EXCO was granted an exploration license by the Ministry of Minerals of Sudan in 2020. In 2023, EXCO entered into a highly successful joint venture with Technotrust Company, resulting in significant advancements and achievements for both parties. The Sohaneit Gold Project is a well-established small-scale gold mining project located in the northern part of the renowned Arabian-Nubian Shield (ANS). The project has undergone various stages of exploration and successfully commenced gold production from the Block A mine in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Wadi gold project
The Wadi Gold Project is a small-scale gold mining initiative, meticulously managed and operated by EXCO Mining Company. Situated in the northern region of the Red Sea State, the project lies within the late Proterozoic Arabian-Nubian Shield (ANS). The area is characterized by quartz vein-style mesothermal gold deposits, reflecting significant gold mineralization. Over the years, the project has advanced through multiple exploration phases, with the most recent efforts focusing on RC drilling to investigate the ore bodies at greater depths
Um-Dafeera gold project
The Um-Dafeera Gold Project, another initiative under the technical operation of EXCO Mining Company, is a promising greenfield venture focused on development and exploration. Scheduled to commence in 2025, this project aims to unlock new opportunities and further expand EXCO’s footprint in gold mining.
